About

This blog is a natural extension of my profession and passion. I’ve been working with people on how to develop careers in the world of work that match their identities since 2000.  I’m also completing my Ph.D. in this area, so I do a ton of research and writing on identity and occupational aspirations, choice and persistence.  And finally, I help people in companies with people-focused services, such as outplacement, candidate screening, and talent optimization.

For me, this life is all about people…and how we all fulfill our purpose, use our skills and talents and contribute to the world through our work.  That said, all of these things provide me with fodder for conversation, discussion, reflection and action–and this blog is the place where such things will reside.

I hope that you enjoy the reading and conversation and will boldly leave your comments and questions, your own reflections and even share information on this blog with others.  I hope it will be helpful as you go though your career days.

As for me, if you want more info on me and where else I exist on the web, you can find my bio and social addresses here and here.

Cheers!
